Before Configuring the Agent

Before configuring the agent, review the Informix resource type, its attribute definitions, and the sample agent configuration. The resource type represents the VCS configuration definition of the agent, and specifies how an agent is defined in the configuration file main.cf. The Attribute Definition table explains the attributes associated with the agent. The sample configuration graphically depicts the resource types, resources, and the resource dependencies required to create the Informix service group.
