Installing SFRAC 4.1 and Configuring Components

This chapter describes how to install and configure the components of the VERITAS Storage Foundation for Oracle RAC in a cluster. The main tasks include:

    Checkmark  Running the installation script to add packages to each cluster node

    Checkmark  Running the installation script to perform basic configuration.

    Checkmark  Verifying the disks intended for shared storage support SCSI-3 persistent reservations.

    Checkmark  Setting up the "coordinator" disk group.
