How to Use This Guide

This guide describes how to install, upgrade, configure, and remove VERITAS Storage Foundation, VERITAS Volume Manager, and VERITAS File System.

This guide assumes that the user has a:

• basic understanding of system and database administration
• working knowledge of the operating system
• general understanding of file systems
