Configuring the EMC SRDF Agent

Most applications configured in VCS can be adapted to a disaster recovery environment by:

  • Converting their devices to SRDF devices
  • Synchronizing the devices
  • Adding the EMC SRDF agent to the service group

Volumes of Symmetrix device groups are configured as resources of type SRDF.
