Prerequisites

  Install and configure VCS. For more information see the VERITAS Cluster Server Installation Guide.

  If a previous version of the agent is installed, uninstall it.

  Install and configure the Informix Server for HP-UX. For more information see the Informix documentation.

  Verify that the VERITAS high availability engine (HAD) is running on all systems in the cluster.

  Verify that all systems have enough resources, such as shared memory, to run the Informix server.
