This screenshot enables you to change the protection mode of the database. To get to this Edit Protection Mode Select page from the Data Guard Overview page, click the Maximum Performance link under the Overview section. If you need a description of the Data Guard Overview page, see the description provided with Figure 5-2.

You can change the protection mode to: Maximum Protection, Maximum Availability, or Maximum Performance. There is a brief description of each mode on this screen. For detailed information see Section 3.6.1.

At this time, you can Cancel or Continue. This scenario assumes you are continuing to change the protection mode to Maximum Protection from Maximum Performance.
