Secure Global Desktop Administration Guide > Commands > The tarantella security start command
tarantella security start [ --array | --server serv... ]
Enables secure (SSL-based) connections for all or part of an array. Secure Global Desktop will give secure connections to those users configured to require them.
To enable secure connections to a particular Secure Global Desktop server you must already have installed an X.509 certificate for that server.
If you omit both arguments, secure connections are enabled for the host on which the command is run.
Argument | Description |
---|---|
--array |
Enables secure connections on all servers in the array with both the Sun Secure Global Desktop Security Pack installed and a suitable X.509 certificate. |
--server serv... |
Enables secure connections for each server named. Each serv is the peer DNS name of a Secure Global Desktop server in the array. |
tarantella security start --array
Enables secure connections across the array.
