To be able to print using Common UNIX Printing System (CUPS), the following extra configuration is needed:
/etc/cups/mime.convs
and
/etc/cups/mime.types
files.
These files contain comments explaining how to do this (search for 'raw').
prtinstall.en.sh
script to install
a printer on the UNIX application server. You may have to use the
--cups
option to indicate that you are using CUPS.
You must print using /opt/tarantella/bin/lp
.
Note LPD print jobs from Windows NT systems fail because there is no way of identifying where the print job originated.
