The prefs_dba.gif image shows the iSQL*Plus Database Administration Preferences screen. It is one of 3 screens available under the System Configuration menu option. It has an Oracle iSQL*Plus logo in the top left, and the three standard iSQL*Plus navigation icons: Logout, Preferences and Help in the top right, separated from the main body by a horizontal line.
The right hand end of the dividing line contains two selectable tabs. Neither tab is active. They are labelled Workspace and History.
The body is labelled Database Administration, and a drop down menu is displayed on the left side. The first option of the drop down menu is Interface Configuration.The remaining options are: System Configuration and Change Password. System Configuration has 3 sub options, Script Formatting, Script Execution, and Database Administration, which is selected.
The body shows the fields and buttons for the preferences in this screen. The text underneath the body label, Database Administration, reads, "Configure settings that affect database administration". At the right hand end of this line, there are two buttons labelled, "Cancel", and "Apply". These 2 buttons are duplicated at the bottom right of the screen. The options are labelled:
Archive Log Source, with the text, "Set the location from which archive logs are retrieved during recovery". There is an associated checkbox labelled, "Default" which is checked. There is also an associated input field labelled, "Path", which is blank.
Automatic Recovery, with the text, "Set whether to use the default filenames of archived redo log files during recovery". There are 2 associated radio buttons labelled, "On", "and "Off". Off is selected.
