This book describes the Dynamic Reconfiguration (DR) feature of the Sun Fire midrange systems, which include Sun Fire server models 6800, 4810, 4800 and 3800. DR enables you to attach and detach system boards from a running system.
This book is intended for the Sun Fire high-end system administrator who has a working knowledge of UNIX® systems, particularly those based on the Solaris operating environment. If you do not have such knowledge, first read the Solaris user and system administrator books provided with this system and consider UNIX system administration training.
This book contains the following chapters:

Chapter 2 Command Line Interface
Chapter 3 Troubleshooting
