This document contains the late-breaking news for the Clustered Database Platform 280/3 With Oracle9i Database Real Application Clusters (RAC) product. This information was found after the initial release of the product.
This section contains general issues discovered after the release of the product.
There is a code error in the /etc/init.d/dbora file. You must fix this error before you reboot the cluster for the first time.
1. On each cluster node, open the /etc/init.d/dbora file in a text editor.
The line should read as follows:
sleep $WAIT_SLEEP # Do NOT Remove this line. |
The $WAIT_SLEEP variable is an undefined shell variable.
3. Change line 45 so that it reads as follows:
sleep $WAIT_TIME # Do NOT Remove this line. |
There have been no new bugs found after the initial release of the Clustered Database Platform 280/3 With Oracle9i Database RAC product.
